073: Siobhan Murray - the impact of burnout on our lives

On this week's episode I am interviewing Siobhan Murray.Siobhan is a Positive Psychology Success Coach & Psychotherapist and a Family Mediator.Siobhan holds a First-Class Honours B.A. in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Mindfulness and Wellbeing, is a Master NLP Practitioner, a certified Life Coach and a Mediator and is about to embark on a Masters in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Siobhan’s early career began working in the Entertainment industry where she worked with artists such as Sir Elton John, Goldie and B*Witched...to name a few. In her early 30’s Siobhan established the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charity in Ireland and was instrumental in the building of the Ronald House at Crumlin Children’s Hospital.Following the expansion of her family and then subsequently becoming a single mother Siobhan began to view her world differently. It was her passion for understanding how our minds work and how the hectic pace we live our lives is creating an epidemic of burnout that inspired her to change careers and her lifestyle.She established her clinic in 2010 and has been working 1:1 with clients and delivering bespoke workshops on Behavioural Change, how to combat Burnout and Breaking the Glass Ceiling, to companies, conferences and events around the country.Siobhan is regularly interviewed on her view point as a Behavioural Change and Burnout Specialist for newspaper and radio and most recently was commissioned as an expert to work on the TV documentary, Stressed, which aired on RTE1 May 2018.
