Joshua 3-4 talks about Israel crossing the Jordan river and setting up twelve memorial stones. This event marks the first manifestation of God's presence with Israel's new leader, Joshua, who had been appointed to assume leadership of Israel after the death of Moses.

The twelve stones themselves were important. The fact that these twelve stones were taken from the middle of the Jordan gives them an added significance. In this teaching I explain what that added significance is. I also explain how you and I can apply the principles of this passage to our lives today.
