From solo agents to managing brokers, we have looked several points on view the past couple weeks on how the new Agency Rules are impacting the REALTORS® businesses and their ability to serve their clients here in the Province. This week we turn our attention to a real estate business model that has been most affected by these new rules - Real Estate Teams. As Designated Agency relationships between a client and their REALTOR® also apply to all members of the registered team, and limited dual-agency no longer a tool in the REALTORS® toolkit, how are teams going to manage going forward? I will be digging deeper into this and much more with Tony Joe, the Team Leader of the Prime Real Estate Team at RE/MAX Camosun. Tony has been operating his team in Victoria for many years and always brings a professional perspective to any conversation he’s apart of. If there’s a way to make these new rules work for both the clients and his business, there is an excellent chance Tony’s has figured it out.
