This Wednesday’s interview is the 21st installment in the Self-Construction Block of podcasts. It will center on the theme 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐲! Our interviewer will share her story in how to believe despite adversity and obstacles.⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣This Wednesday’s guest on @theliberatorspodcast is Asia Satchell @alwaysasiaboo. ⁣⁣⁣

⁣Asia Satchell was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She attended Xavier University of Louisiana for college where she majored in Biology Pre-Medicine. She graduated Cum Laude Honors with a Bachelors of Science in 2017. ⁣⁣

⁣While at Xavier, Asia was a part of the Liturgical Dance team for four years, the president of the Biology Club for two years, and served as the Community Service Chair for Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Health Honor Society. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. ⁣⁣

⁣After graduating from Xavier, she completed a Postbaccalaureate program at UC Davis. Upon completion of this program, Asia worked as an academic advisor at College Track, a non profit organization geared towards getting underserved high school students into college. She then worked as a Flight Attendant for a major commercial airline where she was able to travel the world before proceeding to medical school. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣She currently a first-year medical student at UC Davis School of Medicine and a recipient of the National Health Scholars Corps Scholarship. She aspires to work as a primary care physician in underserved neighborhoods, and also has a special interests in global health.⁣⁣
