Covid has brought a set of problems for just about everyone. Kids in particular are dealing with the stress of the virus in more ways than one. Having to manage the threat of health complications from family members, making sense of lifestyle changes due to financial limitations, and still expecting to excel and pass their courses. Students are expected to fly, even when life as we know it has many people drowning in physical, emotional & psychological turmoil.. But there’s hope! We just need the right people to do the right thing this time around... Two shootings have taken place over one week and each bring their own set of circumstances. Like every incident with a mass shooting, the details may differ slightly.. but the bottom-line is all the same. This nation is broken. It has been broken. In more ways than one I fear. And these aren’t new issues being raised.. but a growth that has been left unattended to for far too long.
