Josiah Boivin talks with Nancy about the several stages that have encapsulated his coming out as a trans man. After experiencing coming to terms with his own identity, he now desires to focus on telling his story so that it might be an example of hope and comfort for others, which includes giving advice to parents and those whose loved ones may be transitioning.

After spending many hours of childhood catching insects and looking them up in the encyclopedia, Joe went to college to study Biology. He now has a PhD in Neuroscience and is completing his postdoctoral fellowship at MIT, where his research focuses on how brain cells form connections with each other during development.
