2nd Lieutenant Ruth Robinson was the 4th woman to serve as a Tomb Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. The honor of Tomb Guard is incredibly rare. The Badge is the least awarded badge in the U.S. Army, and the second least awarded badge in the U.S. military trailing only the Astronaut Badge. Ruth currently works as a Federal Wildlife Officer, and is a member of the Army National Guard.
