In today’s episode of the Balanced Being Podcast, I want to talk about two concepts that stayed with me after attending an orthodontic conference called Orthoprenuers, I attended with my wife.

Here are two concepts that resonated with me:

  1. Robin Sharma uses the abbreviation ABL (Always Be Learning). And this is the first concept that I want to share. People have the capacity to keep on learning even if they are making enough money and are successful. So, invest your time to learn a new skill and evolve.
  2. The concept of proximity resonance: You become the average of five people you surround yourself with. These people challenge you, think big, get the results you want, and are doing something substantial with their lives.
  • When you put yourself around such people you will feel uncomfortable and change the way you have been doing things.
  • It will force you to think differently.
  • It will force you to take massive action.

If you can do these three correctly, you will become the average of all these five. So, think about the five people you are around, and if they are helping you push yourself to achieve your goals. Share your goals with them and see if they support you or hold you down.

I hope you enjoy this episode. Thank you for listening.

Wishing you the best of health,

Gunny Sodhi.
