Official recurring guest Tiff joins Kiara to discuss the debut album by The Killers, Hot Fuss (2004) – not to be confused with Hot Fuzz – over a couple of Hot Toddies. It’s a real trip down memory lane as we look back on the evolution of these Vegas boys and the hard-core nostalgia that accompanies the synth-y tracks and music videos from this era: seeing the band’s early appearance on The O.C, lusting over Brandon Flowers’ guyliner-filled shower scene, and the insane longevity of “Mr. Brightside”. And while we try to stick to the “Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll”, we obviously end up getting sidetracked, chatting about The Great Gatsby, making the case for Marilyn Manson, and debating whether or not Christopher Walken is attractive.
