Is this episode the best mixtape we have? That’s up for debate as we discuss S2E21: What Could Have Been. We unpack Nathan’s conversations with Lucas and Peyton about the accident and whether he did it on purpose. Additionally, we discuss Nathan’s family struggles, Dan trying to initiate an annulment between Nathan and Haley, and Haley’s decision to leave the tour (and then ultimately stay). And we of course dive into all things Leyton and Brucas, including Leyton’s friendship, THAT moment between Brucas, and Brooke’s insecurities.

NOTE: In the spoiler segment, Kaitlyn mentions an event that happens in the penultimate episode of season 9. That event actually happens in season 9, episode 11.

Be sure to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts! That’s the easiest way to support us and to help One Tree Hill fans, new and old, find us! We’re Kaitlyn Ilinitch (@MissIReads) and Jeremy Rodriguez (@RodriguezJeremy) and you can find Always and Forever on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @alwaysothpod or email us at alwaysothpod@gmail.com.
