We chat with Mary Johnson (@itsamarython) , a running and strength coach and founder of LiftRunPerform, her coaching website, where she coaches half and full marathoners to their goals just as she herself achieved by qualifying for Boston. She has been featured in numerous magazines such as Runner's World and Women's Running and is the mother of 2 children while still balancing her strength and running goals and business. We discuss how she got started in running and transitioned that to coaching strength and coaching running, how to incorporate strength training into your training plan, and how it is being a woman in a largely male dominated field like coaching
