No matter how far we've come as a society, we still seem to live in a "man's world." Being a woman in the film industry making a name for yourself, takes time and guts to stand by your beliefs, maintain your boundaries, and create your own work. Every journey is different. Not everyone has an impact in the world by just being viral famous overnight sensations. Some have had to take the long-winding road to allow their creativity to not be watered down by a conflicting society to create art that is impactful and fulfilling.
For today's episode, our guest is Carly Wilkins, a self-made female Writer/Producer/Director/Editor/Actress discussing her upcoming web-series "Yellow Lines." Recently, her web-series pilot was shown at the Chain NYC FIlm Festival where it won the award for Best New Pilot.
