Welcome to Wonderful World of Darklords! In this episode, a particularly manic Rachel and a particularly indulgent Tom discuss a movie that, on the surface, seems like a perfect match for a horror game--except that they're not mean in their town of Halloween, so how can it make your PCs truly feel that it's hopeless, they're finished, and they haven't got a prayer? Subjects discussed include:

-Giving Halloween Town a dash of thematic darkness to match its creepy aesthetic, while (we hope) still keeping it recognizable as the Halloween Town we know and love;

--How to adapt the "Halloween takes over Christmas" movie to a setting that has neither Halloween nor Christmas;

--A particularly baroque and high-concept backstory that allows you to bring Jack's new and improved visions to any domain you choose;

--The roles that various beloved Halloween Town characters might play in the domain and the adventure, including which one, other than Oogie Boogie, is just the worst;

--and more!
