This week Wilko and Sandman have a quick look at the TTR sweep of Phillip Island and quickly talk about what it has been like being part of this new series and the work that has gone into making this season happen through our eyes and the eyes of the drivers themselves. The pair wrap up the season and discuss that first round yet again, the dominance of Jarrad Filsell and the level of skill we have already for 2023 just in the top 20 automatic entries.

Wilko gets a chance to talk to Jake Burton about his year, that first round and the amount of time it takes to really polish your skills for a series of the 40 best drivers in Australia. They touch on the fatigue that can set in over a season, especially at this level where you have so many other commitments to fulfill around each race. They discuss the future of Jakes real life racing and his career which now has him working in the sim world, which is a dream come true.

Scott Gamble then joins Wilko for a chat about the qualifying series he is about to embark on and how getting the taste for the series in the enduros has really made him keen to qualify for 2023. They talk about his progression path through to the series through V8 Vets and how his work on Youtube and this Logitech wheel he got his hands on really helped his driving. Finally we talk briefly about his time serving and how that relates to the sim.

Finally the team look at the qualifying series and how it is structured to bring through the best and most consistent drivers to the series. The team discuss the large numbers of people that are trying to get into the series and what we expect from the four big races early in the new year.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the episode and we will be back In the new year
