There are so many advantages to starting your business while you continue to work your corporate job. For one, you still have an income to support your expenses during those first few months (or longer) where you haven’t even launched yet or your business isn’t making any money yet. At the same time, starting your business while still working full-time comes with its own unique set of challenges. Jess Coleman, the Founder of Huckleberry Creative, joins us today to talk about her own experiences with this and to offer some helpful hints to others who might soon be juggling the double life of employee and entrepreneur.

ALSO MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:

“Profit First” by Mike Michalowicz

“Developing Business Strategies” by David Aaker (the book I read in my Business Literacy & Corporate Finance class)
