Welcome to the first episode of 2023!
Our discussion today is about life as a Trauma Surgeon, and how your purpose often comes in unexpected ways through life experience. Our guest on todays episode is Professor George Oosthuizen. Prof Oosthuizen is a registered Trauma Surgeon and Chief Specialist in Surgery at Ngwelezana Hospital in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of KwaZulu Natal and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London. He was also the former Trauma Program Director of the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons(PAACS) and the former President of the Trauma Society of South Africa.
