EP.60 California native, UCLA Alumni and one of the purest NBA shooting guards the league has seen, Tracy Murray joins Will Gates and Arthur Agee on the Hoop Dreams Podcast. Tracy was a McDonald's All-American averaging an incredible 44 points a game in his senior season of high school ball catching the eye of numerous Division 1 schools, eventually settling on the UCLA Bruins where he went on to become a 2x All Pac-10 Player of the Year. Tracy was drafted 18th overall in the 1992 NBA draft and went on to play 12 seasons in the league winning an NBA Championship with the 1995 Houston Rockets. Over the course of his career Tracy played with some of the greats including Shaw, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kobe, Chris Webber and Juwan Howard just to name a few. Tracy shares some classic NBA stories and gives young players some great insights as to what it takes to make it in the league. So tune in and enjoy some lessons from a legend.
