Trigger warning: sexual assault, rape, child abuse, incest, self harm, suicide

Thank you for coming back for part II of this very important conversation.
The second half of this conversation was worth the wait. Join myself and Sysylai Donald of RIM Awareness and Healing Center as we continue discussing the trauma associated with childhood sexual abuse, life after and her continuous journey of healing.
Sysylai Donald is the founder of RIM (Rape, Incest, & Molestation) Awareness and Healing Center. RIM Awareness & Healing Center was created to bring awareness to rape, incest, & molestation within families, our communities, and the world as a whole. Due to the negative backlash that comes with speaking out. Many victims of sex crimes stay silent, some never telling a soul. The goal is to build a safe place for survivors to receive resources such as; therapist, spiritual advisors, wellness activities, and more. In addition, they intend to educate to educate the masses on the laws and statistics relating to sex crimes. As RIM teaches people how to protect, collect, and preserve evidence in the event they are victimized.
The ultimate goal is to assist in equipping each individual with the tools to achieve healing. From victims to victors! As a mother of two sons, her commitment to overcoming has been bigger than her from the beginning. If you have question of would like to learn more about RIM please follow her on IG at R.I.M._Survivors or email her at sysylaidonald@gmail.com.
This episode contains material that many parents would find difficult or unsuitable for children under 16. Parents are strongly urged to exercise greater care in monitoring this episode and are cautioned against letting children under the age of 16 listen unattended.
If you or someone you know are a victim of sexual assault or abuse and need support, there's help. The National Sexual Assault hotline is free and confidential. Call 800.656.4673 or click this link to virtually chat with someone today. Both are maintained 24/7.
