The gang got together and played Disco Elysium this month and WOW. What a game it was. Corrigan took the month off and subbed in her partner, Kyo Edmoundson, and it was great getting his thoughts on the game. Hope you enjoy this meandering conversation where covered just about everything in this 2-hour episode and it still felt like we barely scratched the surface of this super-detailed and mega-dense game. We start off with some intros and big idea stuff then finally set up the game and setting (19:40) before getting into the development and more recent company news (29:10). After that we dive deeper into the gameplay with a few spoilers eventually (43:00 ish) before playing a resounding round of "What's The Drink? What's The Song?" (1:24:45). Then we take a visit to the Recommendation Station (1:45:50) and pick next mont's game at the VERY end of the pod.
