Bruce Ferber is a novelist and an Emmy Award-sinning writer. He joins Mick and Mook on the February 15 episode of A Mick A Mook and A Mic.

Ferber’s first job in TV was writing for Bosom Buddies starring Tom Hanks and the late Peter Scolari. Bruce recalls it being “a magical introduction to the business.”

Other Ferber show credits include Growing Pains, Duet, Coach, Home Improvement and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, among others.

Ferber’s first novel, Elevating Overman was published to much acclaim in May 2012. His second novel, Cascade Falls, was published in April 2015, and received equally stellar reviews. It won the 2015 Indie Awards Gold Prize for Humor, adult fiction, and the Bronze prize for General, adult fiction.

Most recently, in 2022, Ferber authored the book, I Buried Paul.

I Buried Paul is a love letter to the power of music – a humorous, yet moving, exploration of the sacrifices its disciples are willing to make in service to its magic.
