Local News:
The Polk County Conservation Board has proposed building a parking lot for Lauridsen Skate park in downtown Des Moines. The board is proposing that a southern portion of the Riverwalk dog park would be taken to accomplish this. The proposal also says the northern portion of the park would be expanded in return. There will be a public meeting:
When: Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 5:30 pm.
