Statistics available from the UNICEF website show that 1.8 billion people menstruate every month ,and there are indications that millions of girls ,women , transgender men and non binary persons experience problems with managing their menstrual cycle especially with gender inequalities , discrimination and societal norms ,impacting on mental and emotional health for these groups of people .
My guest on this episode Amy is a coach in reflexology for menstrual and reproductive health.
We discussed:
Her role as a reflexology coach, why she got involved , her interest in endometriosis and fibroids ,and how these impact on fertility .

The unnecessarily lengthy journey that women go through to get the diagnosis and the evasive treatment protocol .

The need for both dietary and medical management for fibroids .

She helps with supporting couples but she does not diagnose in any way .
Different ways she works with couples through reflexology and how she signposts people for appropriate medical actions depending on their needs.
