Context of the Book of Romans

Paul wrote the letter to the Romans around AD 57-58, while he was in Corinth. Additionally, Paul hoped to gain the support of the Roman Christians for his planned missionary journey to Spain. The letter to the Romans is considered one of Paul's most important theological works and has had a significant impact on Christian theology and doctrine.
