Today on our episode we are excited to have Tom Libelt as our guest. Tom is an expert in course marketing and has a lot of great insights to share with us. In this episode, Tom will discuss how he got started in course marketing, what he’s learned along the way, and some tips for beginners who want to get into this field.
Tom Libelt is a course marketing wizard and is helping creators to market and accelerate their online courses. Tom's strategy combines both traditional and digital marketing techniques to ensure maximum visibility and profits for the courses.
It all started while Tom was in Atlanta, Tom was diligently working to improve the visibility and rankings of a kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai gym. Through his diligent efforts we were able to achieve incredible success for them. As they began to receive more leads than ever before, their customers felt as if they had made a lasting friendship with the business - after all, who can complain when you're getting results? While having conversation with one of their managers, a Muay Thai champion, they suddenly had an idea. Tom told the manager about his profession and come up with idea what if they put Tom's training online? It was like seven or eight years ago. After a sometime, he talked to me and announced that he wanted me to promote it. I had no idea how this would work since I was inexperienced in the realm of marketing. When Tom first heard that we were going to be doing marketing for an online course, he was hesitant. While he had worked with Ecommerce sites and affiliates before, this seemed different. Little did he know that their hard work would pay off in two short years. After some overnight success stories spread the word about them, referrals started pouring in quickly afterwards. He soon realized he had stumbled upon something special something that could provide value to others as well as himself.
Tom now works with clients from all over the globe who are looking for help creating effective courses that will drive revenue for their businesses. He also runs workshops where he teaches marketers how to use course marketing tactics to increase their profits while still delivering value to their customers through quality content and products.
Tom also shares how he ended up living in Thailand, which was one of the most pivotal moments in his life. He reveals that he found it easier to live there because of its low cost of living compared to other countries. He also reveals that he was able to take advantage of the country's many resources and opportunities for entrepreneurs, which made it easier for him to pursue his passions and business endeavors.

Tom's Tipping Point
Tom was young when he set out on his journey. He had a clear goal in mind—to create his own path and make something of himself without depending on anyone else’s help or guidance. He was determined to make it happen on his own terms. So he decided to take risks and try new things, no matter how daunting they seemed at first.

Appealing To Your Audience In Unique Ways
Understanding the weirdness of human behaviour can also help you craft creative solutions in order to appeal more directly to your audience. For example, have you ever noticed that buttons don’t always get clicked? It sounds strange but it happens more often than you think! Why? Well, because sometimes people don’t realise there is a button they can click – they may simply scroll past it without realising its importance or even its existence! In these cases, it might be helpful to add an extra element (such as an arrow pointing towards the button) so that people know exactly what action they need take in order for something to happen.

At the end of the day, understanding human behaviour is essential when creating content for your business or website. People are weird; there is nothing wrong with that. Appreciating how bizarrely humans behave can help you create effective content by appealing directly to their needs and understanding their decisions (even if those decisions don't always seem logical). By doing this correctly, you can increase engagement levels and build meaningful connections with your existing and potential customers alike.
Now, he’s happily settled down in Thailand living what he calls a low-cost lifestyle. While living an expat life is perfect for some people, it can be difficult for others—especially those who are getting older. However, this doesn’t seem to be a problem for Tom; he believes it’s possible for anyone with an entrepreneurial mindset to find success anywhere they go.
It was great getting to know Tom Libelt during this episode! His inspiring story proves that no matter where you are from or what age you are—if you have enough grit and determination anything is possible!
