Today, we join Nicole as she talks with George Logan, the director of community relations at Aquarion Water Company. He previously served as a member of the Connecticut State Senate from 2017 to 2021. He and Nicole discuss his career, giving back, and experiences.
Today, Nicole and Erin talked about the following:
- Serving our communities in any way we can is essential - while so many people are busy and might have a lot on their plate, even just doing one thing makes such a difference in these communities
- The goal in my life is to find happiness and to maintain happiness - I do that by being the best I can be and being there for my family, etc.
- Technology has undoubtedly changed the way we work every day; even email has evolved, and communication is at a much higher level than it used to be

George S. Logan is the Director of Community Relations at Aquarion Water Company. He has spent most of his professional life working through the ranks of the largest private water utility in the state – Aquarion Water Company. Additionally, Mr. Logan recently completed two terms (2017-2021) as State Senator representing the 17th District, which includes Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Hamden, Naugatuck, and Woodbridge.
In addition to creating and performing music during his spare time, over the last 25+ years, George S. Logan has devoted time to various community-based causes that have improved the quality of life for thousands of families throughout Connecticut.
