This week on Mind Your Business, NKY!, LINK nky CEO Lacy Starling took a vacation so COO Mark Collier is stepping in to chat with business reporter Kenton Hornbeck to talk about trade schools in NKY and the passion of area leaders for facilities highlighting alternative education, like the Campbell County Area Technology Center. Mark and Kenton also discuss Cincinnati Chili and the Mellow Mushroom's Coney Pizza. Are they willing to try it - hot dog pieces and all? Tune in to find out.
Then, Lacy sits down with Ashleigh DuBois, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the NKY Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of LINK nky's Editorial Board. Ashley talks about the importance of breaking out of your bubble to diversify your 'room' and the types of events you attend and network at to connect with even more amazing people and amazing opportunities in NKY.

Ashleigh also highlights three important aspects of her job; connecting businesses to underutilized populations (like the immigrant population), addressing differences in cultures and how they translate into the workplace and assisting the second-chance / transformational population which includes people in recovery, moms, single parents, caregivers, and people who were incarcerated and are now returning to the workforce.
