Margie's dedication to documentary filmmaking goes beyond the camera lens. She's embarking on a remarkable journey by starting the non-profit organisation, the Documentary Participants Empowerment Alliance. Through this initiative, Margie aims to provide essential mental health, legal, counselling, advocacy, and mentorship resources to past, present, and future documentary participants.

In each episode of "Tangents," we'll engage in thought-provoking discussions with Margie and other industry experts. We'll explore the challenges and opportunities in ethical storytelling, shedding light on the power of Stories and the importance of asking the question 'Who gets to tell the story?"
