It's OK to not be OK
Mental Health is such an important subject to teach our children. It's not easy to tell others that your child has challenges managing their thoughts or feelings. Even though it is normal for people of any age to experience these challenges, our culture has told us we need to fear them.
In this podcast we discuss what mental health is, what we can all do to give each other the support we need to help and ways we can be mentally healthy.
Dr. Brittany Collins is a professional mediator, specializing in alternative dispute resolution techniques. Her areas of expertise and interest include building healthy relationships, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, grief, suicide prevention, faith, adjustment issues, life stressors, conflict resolution and self esteem.
Mahtab Moradi, Behavioral Therapist shares her wisdom across 22 years of social work, clinical practice, volunteer work teaching and community service.
