Have you ever wondered what the perfect church would look like? Acts 2:42-47 describes the Church (big C) as it was when it first started. "All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer." Everyone lived in community, sharing everything they had, taking care of one another's needs, worshiping every day, and living with great joy, generosity, and gratitude. "And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved."
We were meant to live in community with other believers, all learning, doing, and sharing together as disciples of Jesus. But there are things that stand in the way of this. Listen to this message by Discipleship Pastor Ryan Akers to learn what true discipleship is, what the obstacles to it are, and how we can overcome them.
