Join Stef as he sits with Jason Rockman, the host of the Rockman Power Hour Podcast. You might recognize the name because his voice rocked the airwaves on CHOM for over 13 years, or as the frontman of the legendary Montreal band Slaves on Dope, or the spokesperson for Comic-Con. Jason is one of the hardest working guys in the media business and he shares his incredible journey filled with authenticity and audacity.

In this episode, they discuss Jason's high school days (doing something we've all dreamt of) the band's move to LA, and the pivotal moments that led to their breakthrough.

During our conversation, Jason vividly describes the surreal experience of being part of OzzFest, realizing the distance they had covered, and shares a great story of how he had the opportunity to share the stage with Soulfly for over 30 dates across the US.

While many stories end here, for Jason, it marked the inception of a new chapter. Making the courageous choice to depart from the band, embrace sobriety, and embark on a fresh adventure, he faced challenges head-on.

Jason reflects on his transition to CHOM, his connection to 90’s music, and how important it was for him to help young local bands because he understood how hard it was and wanted to give back.

Today, Jason is a multifaceted creative force involved in various projects, from hosting his podcast to collaborations with the Montreal Canadiens and being a spokesperson for Comic-Con across Canada.

However, if you’re looking for him on LinkedIn; you won’t…he's just not that interested.

Tune in for an inspiring conversation about resilience, transformation, and the unyielding pursuit of authenticity with the one and only, Jason Rockman.
