Manchester United… the most in-form team in the Premier League... apparently! It doesn’t feel like it, but, somehow, that’s four league wins in five games for Erik ten Hag’s Reds. It was hardly convincing; United failing to convert some good chances again and going through another game without a forward scoring. Victor Lindelof was the unlikely match-winner in a one-goal home victory over Luton Town.

Earlier in the week, we did see a forward score. And twice. Rasmus Hojlund continued to show his excellence on the European stage by putting United two ahead at his old club. A wonderful performance disrupted by a nonsensical refereeing decision, in the aftermath of which United crumbled a little. 2-2 and then back in front, a Fernandes penalty. But then behind again, 4-3. A gutting result after some really positive signs.

So, lots to review from one win and one defeat on the latest episode of the Manchester United Weekly Podcast with hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait.
