Brooks and Matt have investigated some of the most haunted places in Tennessee such as Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, located in Petros, Tennessee, which has a reputation for being one of the most haunted places in the United States. It was in operation for over a century, from 1896 to 2009, and housed some of Tennessee's most dangerous criminals. Many stories and legends have emerged about the paranormal activity within its walls.
