During Mental Health Month, celebrated across Australia, Muslims Down Under had the privilege to speak with Ali Faraj, winner of the 2023 Australian Mental Health Prize Winner as a Community Hero.
Ali Faraj is a prominent Muslim mental health advocate who works at the grassroots level, to keep our communities safe and increase awareness around mental health and suicide. A winner of many accolades and significant distinctions, in this episode Ali discusses the importance of nurturing our mental health, how his faith plays a role, and provides practical tips on how to support your mental health and wellbeing.
