Welcome back to The Retro Blood as we start off our 3rd annual Holiday Horror review month in the 1980’s. Up Next, if you like long stair way walking in the dark, a swerve back story and kids hanging out in a Dorm this is the review for you because Retro Blood is talking all about “The Dorm that drip blood”.
Join James Kline and J. A Alison as we leave the dorm breakdown party and look for invoice papers that takes us so long that we get caught by the killer.
We start off with some quick thoughts on the film and of course our annual beer reviews. Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date September 10, 1982. In Pro Wrestling we talk the Alabama heavy weight Championship match!!
In Metal we talk about the band Twisted Sister and their Album “Under the Blade” We talked about Twisted sister at this time and how different they were and what Tipper Gore had to say about the song “Under the Blade”.
Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talked about the directors Stephen Carpenter and Jeffrey Obrow and what else they have done.
We talk about the many names this film had.
We talked about what inspired this movie.
We talk about the gorilla style filming of this movie with filming on 16mm and the two directors casting all the actors themselves.
Then we get into the full review with Craig and his self-doubt. Joann just trying to get these chairs out the dorm. WALKING UP AND DOWN STAIRS. We talk a lot of death scenes being cut out and much more.
So grab yourself your favorite drill with the cord and listen up to the Retro Blood talk all about
