Certain he knows where the Khûndu's lair is, Aeglas leads a host of knights from Oathgard towards the Haladraich. They are determined to destroy the monster and put an end to the woes of Evenhold. But the frozen hand of winter has been raised against them. On their journey, they meet with ferocious storms, treacherous climbs, and mutiny from within their own ranks. Will they make it to the shevarra's lair at all? And if so, who will remain to fight the beast?
