**I like to start the show with the word of the day & quote of the day. Spreading knowledge is a powerful way of adding value to the world.

So let's go!

Today's word of the day is " Comeback "

//: a return by a well-known person, especially an entertainer or sports player, to the activity in which they have formerly been successful:

What is a comeback?

How do you turn an experience into a growth opportunity??

As I talked about on Monday, Life has a way of naturally pruning our lives for us through diagnoses, disasters, deaths and other disruptions. These changes to our lives challenge us to rise to the occasion, or not, and serves as an opportunity for us to embrace more of who we really are and what really matters to us.

When was the last time you took a long, hard look at your life? I'm talking about a serious look and taking inventory of your schedule, commitments, friendships or relationships? Anything that requires your literal investment of time and energy. Be honest. Probably rarely or never, right?

You have to have a setback in order to have a comeback. It is how respond to those setbacks that makes our comeback that much stronger.

Yes, you do need to give yourself permission to grieve, if it is a loss of a loved one, a friendship, your health or a job, grieve. Just do not stay there.

A setback mentality is: "I do not know if I'll ever get past this", "I can't believe this happened to me," OR "How come this always happens to me?"

YOU have to come to a point in your life that you recognize and replace that limiting belief. It is time to admit to yourself that you are capable.

- Give yourself permission to let go of what is holding you back.

- Realize you have everything you need to move forward.

When we think about bouncing back from a challenge, we often try to forget about the difficulties we faced. We restrict ourselves from feeling our emotions or avoid conversations about our flaw and weaknesses. However, in order to fully recover from a tough period in life, we must ourselves to be vulnerable enough to feel our emotions and to admit our flaws. If you do not allow yourself to be vulnerable and truly acknowledge how a setback made you feel, how can you truly ever recover and move forward?

Let's listen to this:

The comeback you make after your setback makes you a stronger and wiser version of yourself.

Let us listen to a bit of motivation:

My health is my biggest setback. A lot I have absolutely no control over but to push my-self past the freaking pain and move. Yesterday was a hard day, the pain was trying so hard to hold me back from my goal of working out. Did I stay in bed? No, I got up, worked out. Yeah it was not the best I would I have liked it too be, but I did not subcome to the pain. Screw you pain! I AM A BADASS!! Remember,

The comeback is always greater!! Come back!! I believe in you, you got this!!
