The American Sickle Cell Anemia Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 1971, ASCAA has tested, counseled, and assisted individuals, families, and the population at risk of Sickle Cell Anemia. ASCAA is affiliated with multiple major hospitals in our local area, including, but not limited to: Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital, University Hospital, MetroHealth Hospital, Rainbow Babies and Children, and local clinics and community centers. Mission Statement: ASCAA is a comprehensive health organization whose mission is to connect with families, inspire hope, and improve their quality of life.
