How big is your garden? What kind of fruit are you bearing?
With all of the demands on our time - work, family, friends, church, and maybe even a little personal time - we are keeping crazy-busy schedules. We think this is something new, something that has never happened before. But, when we read the Bible, we are reminded that the limitations of life are not new.
Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).
We receive life from a vine and are care for by the ultimate gardener. Will we yield our lives to his hand?
