I'm chatting with you from the comfort of my bathtub today, and I figured there's no better spot than here to chat about something pretty cool—cold plunging. Before you start thinking you need a fancy gym membership or expensive gear, let's keep it real. Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest, right?

Cold plunging, have you tried it yet? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. It's been trending lately, and I recently gave it a go after returning from Iceland, where I jumped into some chilly waters. I get it, diving into cold water isn't everyone's cup of tea. But trust me, the benefits are worth considering.

I'm not going to throw a ton of scientific studies at you because the research is still ongoing. But here's the thing, I'm a firm believer in listening to our bodies. And let me tell you, cold plunging has some potential perks, like helping with stress, boosting moods, and even improving sleep.

Sure, it's not the most comfortable thing at first. I mean, who enjoys being chilly? But here's a challenge for you: embrace a little discomfort this week. It's in those uncomfortable moments that we often find growth and help relieve those aches and pains.

My own cold plunging journey started in Chile, where I convinced my husband to give it a shot. And now, it's become a regular part of our routine. You don't need fancy equipment either, just a bathtub or a cold shower will do. Start small, maybe 30 seconds at first, and see how you feel.

PRO TIP: crank up your favorite tunes while you're at it. It makes the whole experience a lot more enjoyable.

Now, before you go jumping into icy waters, a word of caution: if you have any health concerns, especially heart issues or if you're pregnant, it's best to check with your doctor first.

And if cold plunging isn't your thing, that's totally okay. You can even just dip your feet in the cold water to receive the benefits. Take a deep breath and remember to relax. I challenge you to breathe into your butthole during the process.

I'd love to hear about your cold plunging stories and experiences. And if you're curious about my adventures in Iceland, hop over to Instagram for more.

Until then, stay warm and embrace the chilly side of life.
