Before you PANIC 🆘 just STOP 🛑 it’s time to take a moment and deal with what’s been dealt! (We’re talking about the NAR settlement of course!)
Before you think another thought on it all, ask yourself this👉🏼“Was your value just opening a door?”🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
In this episode we’re taking a minute to chat with Savvy Homebuyer’s Co-Founder, Lauren Taylor, on the if’s and’s and but’s of what the settlement COULD mean for our industry!
While there are absolutely still a lot of things to shake out of this all, it’s important to start educating yourself now! If you aren’t doing these KEY things yet, you need to be:
- Do the buyer consultation! The biggest take away through this all is that there are absolutely no more corners to be cut! (Seriously, this shouldn’t even have to be said, you should be doing this anyway!)
- Know your value and know how to communicate it! You weren’t just there to open that door! Show the consumer your stats! Did you negotiate more than a million off of asking prices last year? Did you get XYZ amount of improvements for your buyers? Let your value be heard!
- Start communicating better with other agents!! (This speaks for itself and is ALWAYS something we should be seeking to do!)
This is going to be a moment of GROWTH, we as agents have to start saying some big things and showing the consumers that we have their best interest at heart!
