For years Joe Cucchiara has been stating that big changes were coming to real estate. It’s been a long time coming, but the industry is finally being forced to change and adapt to new technology. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) took a major blow today after being found guilty of artificially inflating commissions. In addition to paying $418M over the next few years, the NAR must also implement a number of systemic changes that will benefit consumers. Is this lawsuit enough to force the real estate industry to adapt to technology and begin streamlining the homebuying process to benefit consumers?
