Do you find parenting hard? Occasionally or perhaps more than you'd like to admit?

Don't worry, this isn't me just moaning about my experience and the injustice of today's society for parents.

I share some truths that many/all Mums feel but we're encouraged to gaslight ourselves and cover it up.

F**k that!

You matter. Your feelings matter. And support for your struggles matters. — Why do you think I called the podcast what I did?!

In this episode I speak about:

  • loving your child deeply AND motherhood being hard
  • the HUGE importance of feeling seen, heard and acknowledged, especially in matrescence and motherhood
  • speaking our truth, and why it matters to express sadness and anger
  • the many feelings we can go through in a short space of time
  • reverence for the BIG work we do as Mums
  • processing trauma and seeking help

Themes: Motherhood, Mental Health, Parenting, Matrescence

I mention Emily Nagoski and her book 'Come As You Are'.

At the end, I share a poem written by me.
