On the same day that we climbed the UK's 2nd tallest mountain Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), we discuss the role of fear and heights based activities in outdoor education and summer camps. What is innate fear? How do our brains process fear? What role does inducing fear serve at camp? What are the best ways to include this in a summer camp programme?
