After a little break. We're bacccccck! On our first pod of 2022, one for the animation professionals. A special episode with Paul Ó Muiris. Paul Butler Lennox sat down for a chat with one of the most interesting and productive creatives out there. Paul Ó Muiris is an Irish artist and filmmaker. In his early career, Paul worked as an illustrator, sculptor, and storyboard artist. With the Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon animation studio in Ireland, he has directed projects for Disney, RTE, and Amazon Studios, as well as doing extensive work on projects in development and leading the compositing department on various commercial, TV, and feature development projects. He also wrote and directed the multi-award winning short film The Ledge End of Phil (from accounting) which garnered an IFTA nomination. Internationally he's served as Development Consultant on the hit Netflix feature film Klaus. Worked on Marvel's What if..? series for Disney Plus in Sydney. He has also supervised on TV series in France and is in development on a new project with French studio Gao Shan Pictures. He is currently the compositing supervisor on the upcoming Cartoon Saloon feature film My Father's Dragon for Netflix.
