In this week's episode we talkabout one of those period films that never do great at the box office, but always deliver on story and character study: 'Brooklyn'. The film stars Saoirse Ronan as Eilis, an Irish woman who moves to America (no points for guessing where) and starts a new life, only to be pulled back by her family back home. We discuss the nature of their family's decisions, as well as talking boat travel, Mutton stew and listing our favourite location movie titles.
To prepare Mutton Stew, apparently cook your mutton, whack it in a bowl and cover it in unstirred gravy. Honestly no film has never made anything look less appetising.
