Manage episode 420542208 series 3562338
Money Mondays is back for a brand new series!!
May 28th is ‘World Hunger Day’ - Over 11 million people in the UK alone have experienced food insecurity
To raise awareness, Zak & Emma have invited guests from 2 amazing organisations who may be able to provide you support if you are struggling to put food on the table
Heather from the wonderful ‘Trussell Trust’ tells us how food banks work and how they are more than just a way of getting some essentials for your cupboards. Did you know they can signpost and support for a range of other financial issues too?
We also hear from Mark at the fabulous ‘Bread & Butter Thing’ - TBBT run food clubs which can help you get more for your money and do so in a healthy, sustainable way too!
