We hear the word "stress" all the time - yet do we actually know what it is, why it might affect us so intensely or what we can do about it?
In this episode I explain how the stress cycle works, the 3 types of stress AND how it impacts our mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
This episode lays the foundation for the episodes that follow :)
All concepts are explained in simple language and references are applicable to everyday life - so you can start noticing patterns in your own life and making changes to self-regulate, NOW :)
Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor. This is my perspective on the topic, anchored in the work of various thought leaders + physicians (like Andrew Huberman, Irene Lyons, Peter Levine, Joe Dispenza + Dr. Gabor Mate to name a few) paired with my own life experiences and healing journey from burnout, grief, severe injury and other events.
