Shawn Williamson is a very interesting lady. In this interview, she shares with us about her journey into the Funeral Home business. At a very young age, she reluctantly accepted an introduction to the business through a childhood friend's family due to a need through a high school program she was involved in. After falling in love with the opportunity to show caring compassion to families who have experienced the loss of their loved ones, and then graduating high school, decided to continue in the business, and attended mortuary school. The youngest graduate in Tennessee ever...and a female, which at that time was very rare. She is also the founder/owner of Legacy Funeral Home and also owner of Chattanooga's oldest, Wann Funeral Home.
Shawn is also a founding partner of Cherished Furever, a Chattanooga pet crematory designed to comfort families who have lost their precious fur babies and give them options regarding taking care of their remains and final resting place.
Another unique part of Shawn's story is the fact that she is an athlete which many people might consider unique. How exactly is it unique?
