Welcome to Thirsty Thursdays @3PM EST!

My name is Jessie Ott, the Host of this Podcast which is all about Beverage Innovation. I talk with Innovation Pioneers from Agriculture to Glass.

This week I spoke with Bruce Schneider, co-founder of the Gotham Project is a globally recognized innovator in reusable packaging with 20 years of innovative leadership in the wine industry. They celebrated their 13th-anniversary last week, the same week as Earth Day!

The Gotham Project started in 2010 and was a pioneer project that set the standards for wines on tap in 100% reusable stainless steel kegs. They have eliminated more than 6 million wine bottles, positively impacting the environment.

Bruce has served as the Co-Director of Wines of Germany USA for 15 years and is a third-generation wine industry professional with a background in grape growing and winemaking.
Bruce tells us his journey from starting in the family business to living and going to school in France, falling in love with Cab Franc from the Loire Valley to planting it in New York in his vineyards.

He’s an entrepreneur at heart and was a real beverage pioneer and paved the way for restaurant owners and consumers to drink high-quality wine from a keg, or what I love to call now “the mini tank”!
