The United States drew a line in the sand in its disputes with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It declared openly that if the CCP attacks the Philippines, the United States will be forced to defend its ally. The warning comes after a Philippine sailor was seriously injured following a Chinese coast guard ship allegedly ramming their boat. The latest incident comes amid a growing pattern of confrontations between Philippine ships and CCP ships in the South China Sea. The Chinese regime claims ownership of the whole region, which has been rejected by many nearby countries as well as by the United States. As the conflicts grow in intensity, with a possible CCP invasion of Taiwan also hanging over the region, there is growing talk of war.
